North Pattaya - Pattaya Nuea
Pattaya Nuea borders on the north with Naklua and to the south with Pattaya Klang (central Pattaya). The main bus station is located on Pattaya Muea Road close to sukhumvit road, and beach road starts from the roundabout that connects Pattaya nuea with naklua. Where roughly a decade ago this part of Pattaya was rather quiet and not much of a tourist hotspot, Pattaya nuea has been catching up with the rest of the city and now has a buzzing night-life as well, even though it's not as extravagant as down-town Pattaya. Art in Paradise, (a 3d street art exhibition), Alcazar cabaret, Drinking street, Hollywood discotheque and beach-road soi's 1 to the notorious soi 6 are all situated in this part of town. Almost all of these entertainment venues are located between beach road and second road, where also most hotels are concentrated. Although not quite the same compared to entertainment areas down-town, there's plenty of choice in bars and restaurants around this area to enjoy a night out. There is a selection of korean barbecue eateries, named "moo-ka-ta", situated across the road from Hollywood disco that are popular amongst many Thai and foreign locals, and is definitely worth a try if you're unfamiliar with the concept.
There aren't many western-style condominiums or housing developments in this part of Pattaya, which predominantly consists of shop-houses and low-rise Thai-style apartment buildings. And so My Pattaya Place currently doesn't offer any accommodation in this part of Pattaya as we focus our accommodations on the more exclusive areas in and around Pattaya. Our most adjacent condos are located in Naklua and it takes approximately 10 minutes to get to this part of town from there. All in all, Pattaya nuea is nice for the odd night out but doesn't appeal much as a residential living zone.
